Person slashed in subway station in Downtown Brooklyn
Lauren Glassberg has the details on the slashing in Brooklyn.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A 27-year-old man was slashed in the face inside the Nevins Street subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.

It happened around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at the station near Nevins Avenue and Schermerhorn Street.

FDNY and NYPD responded to the scene.

The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital where he is expected to survive.

So far, there are no arrests.
