Video shows teen run over in Brooklyn hit and run
Police are searching for a driver who ran over a teen on a bicycle and fled the scene

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police have released disturbing new video of a hit and run in Brooklyn that left a teenager injured.

The incident happened just after 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, at the intersection of Farragut Road and East 39th Street in East Flatbush.

A white SUV struck the 16-year-old girl, who was riding a bike at the time.

The driver fled the scene.

Amazingly, the girl was not seriously hurt and was treated and released from the hospital.
