Driver killed after crashing into several parked cars in the Bronx

WILLIAMSBRIDGE, Bronx (WABC) -- A driver was killed when his car crashed into several parked vehicles in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx Monday morning.

The driver lost control and crashed into the cars on Bronxwood Avenue near East 222nd Street just after 5:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead.

His 21-year-old female passenger was expected to survive.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
