Stop & Shop recalls children's Care One cough syrup

The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company is removing Care One Children's Mucus Relief Cough from its shelves due to incorrect dosage markings.

The move follows a recall by the Perrigo Company. The markings could lead to an overdose, according to Stop & Shop.

Stop & Shop has received no reports of illness to date, it said. It is a voluntary recall for the store.

Customers who have purchased the product should throw it out and bring their receipt back to Stop & Shop for refund.
