HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY (WABC) --Westchester County restaurateurs Michael and Maeva Rich say they were hired to host a fundraiser by New York State Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson. That was last October. It was all part of the Senator's failed bid to become the Mayor of Mt. Vernon. The business owners say the event went off without a hitch.
