BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A woman was shot and a man was stabbed when a large fight spilled out of a nightclub in Brooklyn.
The victims were found injured in the crowd fleeing Club Republic on Broadway in Bushwick just after 1:40 a.m. Friday morning.
A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach during the initial argument, which may have been over a woman.
As the crowd fled down the block, several more people jumped in and started swinging at each other. A gunman then started firing wildly into the crowd, striking a 20-year-old woman in the leg. Other shots shattered windows of a nearby restaurant.
Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they were expected to survive.
No arrests were immediately made and police are still sorting out a motive .
