Fresh Direct deliveryman beaten in Brooklyn with rubber mallet; caught on camera

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A man delivering groceries was beaten after a fender bender in Downtown Brooklyn and it was all caught on camera.

The video shows the attacker swinging a rubber mallet repeatedly.

The victim, 23-year-old Kevin Tello, fought back by kicking frantically.

His brother says this all started over a minor car accident, while Kevin was delivering groceries on Sunday for Fresh Direct.

The victim has three fractured vertebrae but is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect, 34-year-old Damian Bailey, faces charges including assault.
