MILWAUKEE, Wis -- A Wisconsin teacher's aide has been pulled out of classes after video of a fight he had with a student went public.

The violent altercation between the aide and the student was at Bay View High School in Milwaukee.

Jacquan-Anthony Wilder, a student, said, "They were arguing. They kept on arguing and getting into each others' faces."

"I was just watching it like 'this is unreal. I cannot believe this," said Wilder.

Students said security came in to break it up.

The 14-year-old student who was involved was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital, and the 39-year-old aide was arrested for child abuse.

Denise Callaway, the Milwaukee Public Schools director of communications and outreach, said the district "finds this incident deeply disturbing."

MPS said it is cooperating with police. "As soon as the administration was told by students that this incident had occurred, the Milwaukee Police Department was contacted and the staff member was taken out of the classroom," said Callaway.

Milwaukee Public Schools said the teacher's aide faces disciplinary action including termination.
