Rescue crews pull 4 people from burning car in Clifton

CLIFTON, New Jersey (WABC) -- Four people were taken to the hospital early Saturday after a car crash.

Around 3:30 a.m., a car failed to negotiate a turn on Kuller Road and ran into the woods. It eventually caught fire.

The four victims had to pulled from the wreckage. Their conditions are unknown.

The cause of the crash is unknown. It is unclear whether speed was a factor

PSE&G crews are working to fix a pole that was damaged in the crash.

Clean-up in the area was expected to last several more hours Saturday morning.
