HUNTINGTON STATION, Long Island (WABC) -- Two men are under arrest on Long Island in connection with last month's shooting of a man at the Huntington Station LIRR Commuter parking lot.

Suffolk County Police have charged Jonattan Canales, and his step-brother Cesar Moncada with first-degree assault for the April 23rd shooting.

Canales, 18, and Moncada, 19, both of 19 Tower St., Huntington Station, are set to be arraigned Wednesday in Central Islip.

Police say Jose Jurado, 20, of Huntington Station, was walking through the LIRR parking lot when a man stepped out of a vehicle, pointed a gun at Jurado, and shot him in the foot.

Jurado fled and made his way to a local 7-Eleven on New York Avenue where someone called 911. Jurado was taken Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
