TEMPLE CITY, Calif. -- A Temple City kitty is going to be just fine, but her curiosity nearly cost her one of her nine lives!
Lily the cat got stuck between two large cinder blocks in a wall at the back of her owner's home.
Firefighters from the urban search and rescue team had to drill a hole in the wall to help free her.
Alissa, Lily's owner, said she doesn't know exactly how her cat got stuck. She called the firefighters "awesome" for drilling through the wall to save her precious Lily.
Fortunately, Lily was not hurt. The kitty was just rescued two months ago from a shelter.
