Video from Eyewitness News viewer Mike W. (@NYCMW / Instagram) shows an apartment fire in Manhattan.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Fire broke out in a West Side Manhattan high rise apartment building Wednesday, sending thick, black smoke into the air.

The fire broke out at 10th Avenue and 50th Street at about 2 p.m.

Sade Baderinwa has the latest details.

The FDNY said the fire was a two-alarm fire, and no injuries are reported.
