5-year-old boy dies after falling from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, building

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 5-year-old boy died after falling from a fifth-floor balcony in Brooklyn Wednesday night.

It happened at about 7:45 p.m. at a 6-story building on Wallabout Street in Williamsburg.

The boy, Meisels Shimon, was taken to Brooklyn Hospital by Hatzolah where he was pronounced dead.

Police are on the scene investigating the circumstances.
