Preparations in place for Sunday's Puerto Rican Day Parade

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The 59th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade takes place on Sunday!

The barricades are in place along 5th Avenue, ready for the crowds. Organizers expect about 100,000 participants and one and a half million spectators.

The parade route will take marchers up 5th Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street. Actress Rosario Dawson is the parade queen. Knicks star Carmelo Anthony is the parade king.

Anchor Joe Torres will be there, along with David Novarro and Carolina Leid.
