Good Samaritan goes the extra mile to return lost tickets

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania -- Wine Warehouse is in the business of selling spirits and apparently, lifting them too.

On Thursday, Shaun McCann learned that firsthand when the manager went above and beyond to return his lost concert tickets.

Security footage shows McCann drop his $160 tickets to the Guns N Roses concert as he and his friend walked through the store.

The two friends never noticed, until they were ready to head to the show.

"It would have ruined my year if I couldn't go to the concert," McCann said.

Usually the high definition surveillance cameras are used to catch shoplifters, but this time, it helped track down the pair of friends that dropped the tickets.

KYW reports that Mark Stagliano, the general manager of Wine Warehouse, used the footage to help identify McCann and return his tickets.

"He used my credit card to find my name, searched on Facebook, found out we had a mutual friend, who called me to tell me he had our tickets." McCann explained.

Stagliano felt that it was simply the right thing to do.

"People come in here because we go the extra step and make sure they're taken care of," Stagliano said.
