Sandy Kenyon reviews "Bad Moms"

The writers of "The Hangover" gave us grown boys behaving badly in Vegas. Now they have turned the tables to give us "Bad Moms" in Chicago. However, they are not really that bad, just fed up.

Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn play friends who find it is impossible to be a good mom. So, they decide to ditch the act and become bad moms.

Together, they give us the funniest comedy of the summer, with a big assist from Christina Applegate as the seemingly perfect president of the P.T.A, Amy.

Jada Pinkett Smith is in that perfect posse who rule middle school.

Bell, otherwise known as Kiki in the film, has a husband who plays a clueless loser. Most of the men in this movie are just as clueless, except for a hunky widower played by Jay Hernandez, and the kids are real whiners.

You might wince watching Kunis's character, Amy, trying to cope at home, at work, and at school until she finally says "I quit."

Amy is frustrated enough to run for P.T.A. president herself, and the kick-off to her campaign, a party at her house, looks like so much fun, you just might wish you could have been there.

The humor is mixed with a whole lot of heart in a comedy so raunchy, you will just have to go and see for yourself.

The best jokes do not belong on television, and this comedy is definitely not for kids. It is for any guy who has ever wondered what ladies talk about in a locker room. But, especially it is for any mom who feels misunderstood.
