Teens earn money for summer while improving community
Toni Yates has more from Paterson.

PATERSON, New Jersey (WABC) -- A group of teens in New Jersey is spending part of this summer cleaning up their town.

For six weeks they are bagging garbage, planting flowers and removing graffiti.

And they are doing it in the cash-strapped city of Paterson, which was recently forced to close dozens of summer camps.

So their hard work is making a big difference for the community.

Eyewitness News Reporter Toni Yates has their story in the video above.
