NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect.

STAPLETON, Staten Island (WABC) -- The man suspected of robbing a Staten Island bank last week while dressed as a woman is under arrest.

24-year-old Jordan Wise turned himself into police, telling federal investigators he held up the Santander Bank in the Stapleton section with a water gun, authorities say.

He allegedly took off with $780 in cash, dressed in women's clothing.

Wise held a silver handgun and told the teller, "Give me the money. Put it in a bag. Hurry up," according to investigators.

He was held without bail Monday following a brief court appearance.

Surveillance video from a nearby deli following the robbery shows the suspect pulling off the dress and heels. He was then seen wearing plaid shorts, blue and white Nike Jordan sneakers, and no shirt.
