UPPER EAST SIDE, New York City (WABC) -- A man was hospitalized following an armed robbery on the Upper East Side Tuesday.

Police released surveillance video of the two suspects Tuesday night.

The 32-year-old victim, who said he is homeless, was attacked on East 89th Street just before 6 a.m.

Two suspects, both in their 20s, approached him and punched him in the eye, using a handgun.

They took his laptop and his camera, and fled west, possibly into Central Park.

The victim was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he is being treated for a minor injury and interviewed by police.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
