NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of groping a young girl at a Bronx subway station.
Investigators released a sketch of the man they are looking for.
He is accused of grabbing an 8-year-old girl from behind while she walked up the steps at the East 149th Street and Grand Concourse subway station.
Police say the victim was walking behind her 39-year-old mother up the stairs when the suspect approached from behind and forcibly squeezed her buttocks twice, saying he was "sorry."
The man then ran back toward the southbound 4 train and fled to parts unknown.
The individual is described at a male Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, 5'6" to 5'8" tall, 160 to 175 pounds, with straight black hair and a light goatee and beard.
He was last seen wearing glasses, a blue Yankee t-shirt and black jeans.
