Suspects wanted in string of taxi robberies in Manhattan

GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- The NYPD is releasing surveillance video of two suspects wanted for a string of taxi robberies in Manhattan.

The video shows the young men approach a taxi in Greenwich Village.

Police say as the first man distracted the driver while the second man reached in and stole cash.

The driver was punched when he tried to stop them.

This is one of six taxi robberies they're suspected of pulling off since last month.
