INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Manhattan early Monday that left one man critically wounded.
It happened at about 4 a.m. near Sherman Avenue and 10th Avenue in Inwood Monday morning.
Police have converged on a gas station in the area.
Investigators say it started with a dispute elsewhere. The man was shot in the head and staggered onto the gas station property.
He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
The circumstances of the shooting are not yet clear.
