SEPTEMBER BRONX RISING! HIP HOP: FROM THE BRONX PA'L MUNDO
-Thursday, September 15, 8:00pm, BMHC Lab, 1303 Louis Nine Blvd., Bronx, NY, Celebrate hip hop's international influence with a set of MC performances by Sadat X, Bocafloja, Flo Kennedy, accompanied by DJ Perly and DJ Illanoiz, all curated by Rodrigo Starz, de Rebel Diaz. The Tools of War Crotona Park DJ Jams end at 8:00.
2ND ANNUAL OFFICIAL LATINO SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
-September 16-18, 2016 in Harlem, New York City. The films will be screened at the Poet's Den Gallery and Theater.
EL BARRIO LATIN JAZZ FESTIVAL
-Tito Puente Jr. performs at 6 p.m. at Marcus Garvey Park.

PUERTO RICAN DAY PARADE OF NEWARK, NJ & BORICUA MUSIC FESTIVAL
-Broadway & Harvey Street, Newark, NJ @ 12 p.m.
LATIN CULTURE CARNIVAL
-Junction Boulevard between Roosevelt and 37th Avenues. The Carnaval's goal is to promote the art, music, dance, and great food from Latino cultures, as well as a day of fun for the whole family. The vendors will provide the attendees with all kinds of Latin American arts and crafts, Live Entertainment, food and many other items. Children's entertainment will include inflatables rides, face painting, games, and lots of giveaways. As in the past Carnaval, they will include a Health and Wellness component that will include more free health screenings than last years.
