NEW YORK (WABC) -- On Thursday night, a special gala was held to shine a light on preventing brain aneurysms in honor Lisa Colagrossi.

Our colleague died 18 months ago of a brain aneurysm.

The NFL Players Choir helped headline "A Cerebral Affair" for The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation in Manhattan.

The foundation was started by her husband Todd Crawford who has turned his sorrow into action.

Eyewitness News Anchor Bill Ritter said it was an honor to co-host the event.

We miss Lisa every single day.
