The power was mostly back on in Jersey City Tuesday morning.

Around 10 p.m., a power outage affected about 10,000 customers due to equipment failure.

As midnight approached, PSE&G was able to restore power to half of those customers. By 1 a.m., PSE&G said all customers were back on.

It appears the downtown area was mostly affected from 14th Street to Grand Street and Montgomery to Marin Boulevard.
