Artist inspires New Yorkers with sidewalk art (WABC)

His artwork is hard to miss. In fact, you really have to get around them. That's because Hans Honschar expresses himself on sidewalks using chalk. He says he loves working with chalk because it " washes off easily ."

From hearts, to flowers, to inspiring quotes, Honschar says he hopes his works, "lift you up."

He says he likes having his art on the sidewalk because, "Everyone can see it. You don't have to go to a museum. You don't have to buy anything. It's open to all."
