JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- Police are questioning the parents of a 5-year-old boy found dead in his Queens home.

Michael Guzman was found unconscious and unresponsive inside a home on 145-15 109 Avenue in Jamaica Sunday afternoon.

EMS transported Guzman to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sources say there is a history of domestic violence in the home. However, according area residents, the family appeared to be happy.

"There wasn't no abusive, foul play - none of that...they wouldn't have no problems. I'm shocked to see something happen," said one neighbor.

There were several young children in the home, and the siblings would often be sen playing outside with no apparent signs of trouble.

The 911 call came in just after 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Medical Examiner will determine Guzman's cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
