NEW YORK (WABC) -- Two ATMs were robbed last Monday - believed to be part of a pattern of up to 73 ATM robberies since 2013.
Police say thieves broke into the ATM outside the Bombay Deli Pizza and Tandoori Restaurant at Ninth Avenue and West 36th just after 6 a.m. on February 16.
They then hit Susanna Pizzeria at 182 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village at 6:45 a.m.
The two robberies have been linked to an ongoing citywide pattern of up to 73 ATM robberies dating back to November 2013.
As part of the pattern, a group of up to five suspects pull the money box out of the ATM and flee with the cash. Not all of the same suspects were believed involved in every robbery.
