PROSPECT PARK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A driver was killed and his passenger injured when a pair of bicycle riding gunmen pedaled up to their vehicle in Brooklyn and opened fire, authorities said.

After being shot, the victims' black Ford Edge crashed into a line of parked cars on Parkside Avenue in Prospect Park just before 3:30 a.m. Friday.

A 42-year-old man was shot in the left arm, neck and left jaw and was pronounced dead at Maimonides Medical Center.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the back. He was in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

A third man, a 22-year-old who was also sitting in the vehicle, was not shot.

The two suspects on bicycles shot into the SUV and then fled eastbound on Parkside Avenue.

No arrest were immediately made and the motive is not known.

In a separate incident, a 22-year-old Brooklyn man was fatally shot by a gunman on Citi Bike Thursday night.

Storm Hughes was pronounced dead at Brookdale University Hospital, where his mother is an administrator.

The gunman, who fled the scene on a Citi Bike, was later taken into custody.

The shooting appears to be over marijuana. Hughes has no prior arrests.
