WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (WABC) --Two pedestrians were injured on a sidewalk in West Babylon after two cars crashed, jumped a curb and hit them.
According to Suffolk Police Department, the two cars crashed while heading in opposite directions on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
They jumped a nearby curb, but it is unclear whether one or both of the vehicles struck the two pedestrians. A 21-year-old man was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition. A 19-year-old woman was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip in serious condition.
The driver of one of the cars, a 2010 Honda Civic, was also transported to Good Samaritan with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver, who was in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, refused medical attention at the scene.
