NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- The New Jersey gubernatorial and legislative primaries are Tuesday.

The front runners in both parties have baggage simply because of their resumes.

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno is trying to distance herself from being on Governor Chris Christie team.

Democrat Phil Murphy has big money but his past work with Goldman Sachs has been a target for his primary opponents.

Murphy is brushing off those attacks.

Candidate John Wisniewski hopes his work on the Bridgegate probe and his support of Bernie Sanders will give him momentum.

Meanwhile, Montclair native Jim Johnson is touting his experience in the federal government as his biggest asset.

And Senator Ray Lesniak is hitting the streets hoping for an upset.

As for the GOP, Lt. Gov. Guadagno has spent the past few days dealing with her mother's passing, but says she is planning a robust final campaign push this weekend.

Her ads have focused on her main opponent, Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

He is shaking off the attacks, going on twitter Friday morning making the Guadagno/Christie connection and was out shaking hands with voters at NJ Transit stations trying to rally support.

Polls will be open on Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on the race and to find your polling location, please click HERE.
