Protesters in the New York area joined March For Truth rallies Saturday, part of a national protest against President Donald Trump.

Activist groups, leaders and grassroots organizations in several cities are asking the government to demand impartial investigations into possible Russian interference into the election.

Demonstrators in New York City rallied Saturday morning at Foley Square on Lafayette Street.

A few hundred protesters also gathered near one of Trump's New Jersey golf clubs. Democratic U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell applauded the protesters from the back of a red pickup truck on Saturday morning in Bedminster Township where an effigy to Trump was covered by an American flag.

Activists have been gathered in the area every weekend since last month. They're rallying at a park that's about 4 miles from the golf course.
