New York City Police Department releases video of gas station robbery

QUEENS, New York (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect who they said is behind a string of gas station robberies in Queens, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest.

Authorities say two robberies took place on May 27 just over a mile away from each other. One incident happened at a Conoco on 101st Avenue, while the other was at a Lukoil on Rockaway Boulevard.

The third robbery happened on May 30 on 150th Street at a Gulf gas station.

Police said the suspect has taken at least $3,500 in total, and so far, no one has been hurt.

The individual is described as a black man, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan work boots.
