Harlem shooting claims life of 21-year-old man

HARLEM (WABC) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Harlem early Monday.

Officers responded to reports of a person shot behind a public housing project on Harlem River Drive around 6 a.m.

There, at the Rangel Houses, they found a 21-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the neck and torso.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's identity has not been released pending family notification.

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
