DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) -- With just a week left until the vote, another rally was held Monday night to protest planned increases on rent-controlled units in New York City.

Tenants and tenant advocates marched in Downtown Brooklyn before the last public hearing prior to the vote.

The Rent Guidelines Board wants to raise rents by 1- to 3-percent on 1-year leases, and by 2- to 4-percent on 2-year leases.

The final vote is on June 27th.
