The NYPD is searching for this man, seen on surveillance camera after a subway beating in Lower Manhattan

LOWER MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for the man who violently beat another man unconscious at a Manhattan subway station.

The attack happened just before 5 p.m. on June 18 on the J train platform at the Delancey Street station on the Lower East Side.

Police say suspect punched and kicked the 65-year-old victim until he passed out.

That man was treated and released from an area hospital.

The suspect is described as Hispanic male in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot-7 with long hair.
