CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects after a man was shot and killed while pumping gas in Brooklyn.

The incident happened around noon on June 17, when police say 46-year-old Keith Vereen, of Queens, was shot at a BP gas station on Atlantic and Utica avenues in Crown Heights.

Authorities say two men walked up to Vereen as he was standing by his Silverado pickup and fired a shot into his chest. It is not clear whether words were exchanged.

Vereen shoved one of the suspects to the ground, and they fled. Vereen later died at the hospital.

The suspects were seen arriving and fleeing in a silver Infiniti.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
