VIDEO: Watch a porcupine dance at Walnut Creek's Lindsay Wildlife Experience

WALNUT CREEK, California -- This little creature has smooth moves! Penelope the Porcupine rocked out at a California zoo this week.

Many people think Penelope is dancing, while others want to know if she's okay. Penelope's keeper aid there's no need to worry.

"It's her getting comfortable, like a dog walking in a circle before she lays down to sleep," Emma Molinare said. "But the cold glass actually might feel nice against her paws during the hot weather, the warmer weather we have here. We do give her special porcupine popsicles right here to help keep her nice and cool, some showers that she really enjoys. But sometimes, you still might see her doing that right before she takes a nap."

Penelope gets excellent care, as Lindsay has a veterinary hospital right at the museum.
