LOWER MANHATTAN, Manhattan (WABC) -- An all-clear was given after a suspicious item prompted PATH service into and out of the World Trade Center to be suspended and the evacuation of the Oculus.

According to Port Authority Police, an unattended suitcase was on Track 2 at the World Trade Center PATH Station around 3 p.m. Minutes later, the World Trade Center PATH station was closed. The NYPD bomb squad examined and cleared the package, and deemed it safe.

Port Authority officials say PATH service will resume.

Police blocked off the entrance inside Oculus. Video posted on social media show evacuations taking place inside:

People were allowed back inside Oculus a short time later.

The 9/11 Museum and memorial site were not evacuated.
