NYPD searching for 'Broadway Bandit'
The NYPD and FBI released clear surveillance images of the man they're looking for.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The FBI/NYPD Violent Crimes Task Force arrested the so-called "Broadway Bandit."

Officers made the arrest on Wednesday just after 6 p.m. near 145th Street in upper Manhattan.

They say 47-year-old Jaime Frierson was arrested without incident.

The NYPD and FBI released clear surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday.

They claim he's robbed or attempted to rob seven banks in the last two weeks, most of them on Broadway Avenue, earning him the name the "Broadway Bandit."

Two of the robberies happened Tuesday.

List of bank robberies and attempted bank robberies below:

8/16 - HSBC Bank, 15 Union Square West - attempted robbery

8/16 - Chase Bank, 1260 Broadway - robbery

8/18 - Chase Bank, 2099 Broadway - attempted robbery

8/21 - Chase Bank, 1860 Broadway - robbery

8/24 - Chase Bank, 2219 Broadway - robbery

8/29 - Bank of America, 301 West 145 Street - attempted robbery

8/29 - Bank of America, 2077 Broadway - robbery

No one was hurt during any of the robberies.
