Man discovered with traumatic injuries at busy Staten Island intersection

CONCORD, Staten Island (WABC) -- A 61-year-old man is in critical condition after he was discovered with traumatic injuries in a busy Staten Island intersection on Thursday.

The man was found at Clove Road and Richmond Road in the Concord section just after midnight. Doctors at Richmond University Medical Center determined he had sustained traumatic injuries either from being hit by a car or an assault.

No vehicle was immediately found near the scene, and no arrests were made.
