Man charged in bizarre break-in at home in Fairfield, Connecticut
36-year-old Eric Kusheba is accused of voyeurism, stalking and other charges.

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut (WABC) -- A bizarre home invasion in Connecticut allegedly involved a pantless intruder wearing nothing but a robe and T-shirt breaking in and watching a child sleep in her room Friday.

The alleged incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield.

Fairfield police said 36-year-old Eric Kusheba entered the home by cutting a screen. He then went into the bedroom where a young girl was sleeping.

At some point the family realized he was there, cornered him and called police.

Officers arrived and arrested Kusheba. On him, they found a set of brass knuckles in his robe pocket. And on his cellphone, officers said they found images containing child pornography.

Joe Gosp, who is the grandfather of the girl and was home at the time of the home invasion, spoke exclusively with Eyewitness News. Watch his interview here:

Kusheba is facing charges of home invasion, carrying a dangerous weapon, voyeurism, stalking, criminal mischief and possession of child pornography.
