A.J. Ross reports from JFK Airport.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The stars aligned to bring relief to Puerto Rico including Bronx native Fat Joe, radio personality Angie Martinez, and bachata sensation Romeo Santos.

Collectively they've been tirelessly working together to send critical need supplies to Puerto Rico.

Friday night, with the help of the music streaming site Tidal, a full plane of supplies took off from JFK Airport.

Even Bronx Borough President Rueben Diaz was in attendance helping to load this massive cargo plane with bare necessities like water, food, and hygiene supplies.

The original goal was to fill one plane, but the outpouring from people from people all over the state of New York and beyond had been overwhelming.

Fat Joe will be aboard the plane that departs overnight. Once it lands, the supplies will be split between Barceloneta, Florida, and Ciales.
