Police looking for 3 suspects in livery cab robbery in Flushing, Queens

FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) -- Police are looking for three suspects in a livery cab robbery in Queens.

Police say the 47-year-old driver was waiting for a passenger on Prince Street in Flushing Sept. 15 when three men demanded a ride.

When the driver refused, police say one man opened the passenger side door and punched the victim in the face.

He also stole the driver's cellphone and 20 dollars cash.

Police say another man then hung onto the car as the driver tried to get away but he eventually let go.

The NYPD issued the following descriptions of the suspects.

Individual 1: male, Asian, approximately 20-years of age.

Individual 2: male, Asian, approximately 20-years of age.

Individual 3: male, black, approximately 20-years of age, last seen wearing a red baseball, cap, black shirt, and red pants.
