Animal officials eventually tranquilized the bull took it away from the park, after several hours of trying to corral it with nets and other means.

There's no word yet how the bull got loose, but it's future is likely better than where it was initially headed. A worker at Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Wantage, New Jersey, said the bull is being taken to their facility.

In fact, the facility named the bull "Shankar."

He'll be quarantined for 30 days, but if he is found to be healthy he will be able to join the other 39 cattle in the santuary.

In case you are wondering, "Shankar" means "one who brings about happiness or prosperity."

Multiple people spotted the bull as it started its journey through the area:

FDNY officials said the loose bull earlier clipped a stroller with a 2-year-old inside, knocking the stroller over and causing the child to fall to the ground. It happened near Park Circle and Prospect Park Southwest.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The toddler suffered a cut on her lip.
