Shocking video shows school buses running red lights in Westchester, Long Island

NEW YORK (WABC) -- There is alarming video of school buses in New York running red lights.

The state's Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is now calling for new school bus safety laws.

He says his office discovered 1,500 red light camera violations by bus drivers in Westchester and Suffolk counties alone.

Schneiderman says the infractions put students, pedestrians and other cars in danger.
