Fire in Flatbush considered suspicious
Mallory Huff reporting

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- A suspicious four-alarm fire burned through two homes Thursday morning, injuring five people including three children.

The fire tore through homes on Glenwood Road just after 4:45 a.m. in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

At least five residents, including three children, were being treated for non life-threatening injuries at Kings County Hospital.

The fire was deemed suspicious and residents said there have been other arsons in the quiet neighborhood, which has Victorian homes and tree-lined streets.

Initial concerns of another three residents missing turned out to be unfounded.

It took hours to put out the fire.
