UPPER EAST SIDE -- Police are searching for the person who is responsible for a senseless attack on a 91-year-old man on the Upper East Side, and they're hoping a surveillance image will lead to an arrest.
Authorities say the man walked up to the victim on East 86th Street, shoved him to the ground and took off in a nearby taxi.
The elderly man was left wheelchair bound, unable to stand because of poor balance. He also broke several bones.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
