Bicyclist critically injured in Brooklyn hit-and-run
Ken Rosato reports on the Brooklyn hit-and-run that left a bicyclist injured.

BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A bicyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Brooklyn Friday.

The 32-year-old man was struck by a vehicle at Central Avenue and Linden Street in Bushwick just before 3:30 a.m.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene, and detectives have determined from talking to "EMS and some other statements" that the driver remained for there a time.

However, they say the driver left the scene before police arrived.

They have the vehicle in their possession, so they know the identity of the vehicle's owner, and they are trying to locate that owner and determine if that owner was the driver that struck the bicyclist.
