Bus catches fire on New Jersey Turnpike in Carteret

CARTERET (WABC) -- The New Jersey Turnpike has reopened in Carteret after a bus fire forced authorities to shut it down.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire on the privately owned bus at about 5:00 on Sunday afternoon.

There were people on board at the time, but everyone got off the bus before it was engulfed in flames.

No other vehicles were involved.
